Number 9 - Grieving for a Life Gone By

My whole life slipped away in flutes and music, and all the while I said: What a pity, my youth and my years are scattering to the wind. Now I have given my heart over to sighs and moaning, but what use is it? God's decree is God's decree; come what may.
Explanation: 'Flutes and music' (nay and nay) stand for a life spent in pleasure and idle entertainment.
