Whoever keeps his word and honors his promises
has nothing to fear from the police or the king.
But the venom that lives in a serpent's nature
is better left hidden than out in the open.

هر کس که درست قول و پیمان باشد
او را چه غم از شحنه و سلطان باشد
وان خبث که در طبیعت ثعبانست
او را به از ان نیست که پنهان باشد
