Story 13

A man was learning how to hurl flaming naphtha. A wise man told him: your own house is made of reeds; this is no game for you. Until you are sure your words are exactly right, say nothing; and whatever you know has no worthy answer, leave unsaid.
Explanation: The 'house of reeds' is a warning that playing with fire endangers one's own fragile home, a metaphor for reckless behavior that backfires.
