Someone scolded me for loving his face:
Why rush so blindly to drown in your own blood?
Ask the one who keeps a captive tied to his saddle;
don't ask me, the one with the noose around his neck.
Explanation: The 'saddle-strap' (fatrak) was where a hunter or rider fastened his catch; the lover is that helpless prey. The blame should fall on the beloved who holds him captive, not on the trapped lover himself.
