You came from God, and for God's sake alone;
you didn't come for the sake of play and passing desires.
Strive to know and worship God,
for this is the only reason you came into this house of the world.

از پیش خدا بهر خدا آمده ای
نی از پی بازی و هوا آمده ای
در معرفت و عبادت ایزد کوش
کز بهر همین درین سرا آمده ای
