Since I came from nothingness into being,
I came to bear witness, to see the truth with my own eyes.
Since I rose up and then bowed down again,

Explanation: The verses play on the postures of Islamic prayer: standing (qiyam), sitting (qu'ud), witnessing (tashahhud), and prostration (sujud), turning the ritual into a metaphor for the soul's journey toward the divine.
