Why does it happen? For God's sake, at least this much we can understand: That the effect of every planetary conjunction the astrologers call unlucky lands right on the great mosque of Isfahan. And whatever they claim comes from the two auspicious stars, its effect falls on Qom and Kashan. So you may know this is all nonsense: everything is destiny and the decree of God.
Explanation: The poem mocks astrologers: 'qeran' means the conjunction of planets, and 'sa'dayn' refers to the two 'lucky' planets, Jupiter and Venus, in traditional astrology.
