Poem 2
The garden of sinners, Ahmad of Jam,
that great whale who drinks up the whole ocean of being.
He is a sky full of moon and stars;
he is a garden full of roses and wild eglantine.
May God's mercy be upon his soul,
and God's curse be upon his enemies.
Whoever sets himself against God
is the enemy of all His saints.
