Abd al-Rahim Ha'eri
عبدالرحیم حائری
1877–1948
Abd al-Rahim Sahib al-Fusul (1294 AH / 1256 SH, 1367 AH / 1327 SH), known as Ha'eri, was a contemporary Iranian writer, poet, and mystic. He lived in Tehran. In 1345 AH, one year after the Wahhabis destroyed the tomb structures at the Baqi cemetery and Muslims refrained from making the pilgrimage, he set out from Damascus for the Hejaz together with a thousand people. Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia (the king of Arabia) received him. Sahib al-Fusul asked the king that the appearance of the graves be marked out and restored, which the king of Arabia accepted under an agreement, and it has remained so to the present day. He is buried in southwest Tehran, at the junction of South Karun Street and Hashemi Street. His remote ancestor was probably Sheikh Muhammad Husayn Isfahani (died 1261 AH), author of the book al-Fusul al-Gharawiyya on the principles of jurisprudence, whose family is known as "Sahib al-Fusul." His work Mashriq al-Anwar has been made available on Ganjoor through the efforts of Mr. Mahdi Ghaffarzadeh.
