On the Aryan People

Blessed are the Aryans, of noble stock, the people from whom Iran remains as their legacy. The Germans, the Saxons, and the rest, all draw their lineage from that fortunate root. Worshipping the moon and the sun was their custom; their marketplaces stood in Balkh and Khwarazm. Their main work was farming, across the plains of the Oxus, Merv, and Herat.
Explanation: Jeyhun is the classical name for the Oxus River (modern Amu Darya). Balkh, Khwarazm, Merv, and Herat are historic cities of Central Asia and Greater Khorasan.
